1 in 3 British Columbians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
The BC Cancer Foundation is a provincial charity whose sole mandate is to raise funds in support of BC Cancer Agency research and care. Many dragon boaters are breast cancer survivors who have received treatment at our BC Cancer Agency Vancouver Island Centre. We salute you all - you are an inspiration!

The BC Cancer Foundation is an independent charitable organization that raises and stewards funds to support breakthrough research and care at the BC Cancer Agency. The BC Cancer Foundation raises money only in B.C. and only for the BC Cancer Agency. Our sole mandate is to raise funds that directly support cancer research and enhancements to care at the BC Cancer Agency. There is no regular government funding for cancer research, so donations to BC Cancer Foundation are vital to ensure cancer research in BC happens.

The BC Cancer Agency is the organization that treats patients in BC, in addition to conducting research, providing prevention and early detection, screening programs, education and end of life care.
