Spirit Award and Island Cup: These coveted awards are once again up for grabs!

Show your spirit, decorate your tent and don your costumes in support of our festival theme (to be announced) to qualify for the Vancouver Island Brewery Spirit Award.

Teams who compete at the 2012 Canada Dry Victoria Dragon Boat Festival and 2012 Save On Foods Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival qualify for the Island Cup.  Based on a combination of points from race placement and tent decorating scores, the Island Cup levels the playing ground between the competitive and recreational!

Paddler's Party and Air Band Comptetition: Stay tuned for details on these popular festival traditions!

Waivers: All participating team members must complete a waiver form in order to compete in the Festival.  Digital waiver forms are part of our online registration system for all adult team members with unique e-mail addresses (see Registration System FAQ).  A printed, adult waiver is available for those team members not able to use the online registration system.

Junior (under 19) paddlers must submit a manual waiver signed by a parent or guardian in order to take part in the Festival.  Festival waivers are available for download through the online registration system or by clicking on the links below:
